Add the 2 cups milk of your choice first to avoid jamming up the blades.
Next, add the 1 ½ cups about 6 frozen strawberries and 1 cup 2 medium frozen bananas.
Finally, top with the 4 tablespoons of your favorite chocolate chips.
Start blending at low speed. Then gradually increase the speed and blend to your desired consistency. Starting at a lower speed allows the larger pieces of fruit to blend before they are pushed up and away from the blades. My blender doesn't have a speed control so I start with small pulses and gradually increase the length of the pulses.
Rinse and wash your blender container with soap and warm water immediately. Nothing is worse than scraping dried smoothie out of all of the nooks and crannies.
Notes
If your strawberries aren't very sweet, you may want to add a little honey to sweeten the smoothie. If you don't have frozen fruit, you can use fresh fruit but will need to add some ice to the blender.Vary the flavor of the smoothie by changing the fruit. Try substituting raspberries, blueberries, or blackberries.Add a little protein by adding some Greek yogurt, protein powder, flaxseeds, or chia seeds. If you prefer a thinner smoothie, add a little extra milk.
